Most solid waste produced by South African wineries during wine making processes includes filterwastes derived from perlite and Diatomaceous earth. Wine filter wastes together with grapevine pruningcanes, berry skins, seeds stalks can be used to make compost as a minimization managementstrategy for the industry. The objective of study was investigate feasibility using winerysolid grape products on composting. pruning canesand were successfully good quality. Compost pilesthat had between 40% 50% resulted in successful Turning compostheaps increased temperatures, which positive factor Furthermore, some compostparameters are likely change season composting weather conditions, quantities andprobably also chemical composition generated seasonally may vary.
